U.S. Ports Emergency Surcharge – Update No. 07
The Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles announced on December 27 to further delay imposing the “Container Dwell Fee,” until January 3, 2022. The port authorities have seen a combined decline of 43% in aging cargo on the docks since the program was announced.
