U.S. Ports Emergency Surcharge – Update No. 05
Please be informed that the Container Dwell Fee is further postponed until December 20, 2021. The Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles accordingly have seen a combined decline of 47% in aging cargo on the docks since the fee was initially announced. The port authority will reassess the fee implementation after another week of monitoring.
