Vessel blockage in the Suez Canal – Update 02
Dear Customer,
The Suez canal traffic is now open and has resumed after the Evergreen cargo ship Ever Given was fully refloated Monday morning 29 March local time. The vessel has been towed to Great Bitter Lake for seaworthiness assessment and inspection. The canal authority reported that Suez Canal traffic will resume operations today for transit passage to continue.
For all Suez MCS and MWL shipments that were affected due to the blockage incident, we are working closely with the carriers to provide us with their updated schedules. We will provide the updated information to you as soon as they are available.
