Notice and update China – Yantian Port COVID-19 Case – Update 10
Update 10 on 6th July, 2021
Please be informed that the backlog of vessels waiting to reach berth at the Port of Yantian has returned to normal. The terminals are now in full operations and are stepping up to eliminate the backlog of shipments that piled up in the past weeks, caused by the lock down, congestions and vessel omissions. Yantian International Container Terminals (YICT) reported that there are no more vessels waiting at anchor and that berth availability is at 100%. The reopening and recovery of Yantian operations has also brought down the waiting times at the nearby ports of Shekou and Nansha, which have been handling much of the vessel overflow during the past month. Carriers are now re-diverting vessels back and resuming port calls in South China.
Please find the updated Shenzhen Ports export laden container operation acceptance:

MCS & MWL will provide additional updates if necessary.
