China COVID-19 Update

There are increasing reports of a fresh wave of soaring cases of Covid-19 outbreak in China and Hong Kong recently. We would like to give you a general update of the situation from key areas Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong. As the information is very fluid and is changing quickly from day-to-day, we will do our best to provide you with the most up-to-date information as we receive them.

Shenzhen All citizens are required to take nucleic acid test on daily basis from Mar 14 to March 20,. Residents are advised to take mandatory tests in their respective neighborhoods and limit to go out for other purposes. Employees of government departments and public institutions are required to work from home, or serve as volunteers at their communities. Work at Home Normal operations All warehouse operations are suspended from March 14 to 20, after which adjustments will be made according to the situation.
Shanghai Shanghai government applied “Check and Clear case 2+12 ” for all Shanghai downtown area to differentiate the residence by batch grading. All the residents are required not to leave home and must take the nucleic acid testing twice in 2 days. Any suspected cases found may be subject to compulsory locked down for another 12 days. Hong Kong Due to increase number of positive cases found especially for the truckers as at the cross border between Hong Kong and Shenzhen , the Shenzhen government has implemented no cross border trucking temporarily until further notice, unless with special  permission from local authorities. Factories requiring cross border delivery may be affected and/or can be moved via barge or feeder service for CY move. Work at Home Normal operations Normal operations
