Change Of Top Management
We are pleased to announce management changes in MOL Consolidation Service Ltd. (MCS) and MOL Worldwide Logistics, Ltd. (MWL)
Mr. Koichi Yashima, currently Group Executive Officer of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and President & Chief Executive Officer of MOL Logistics Co., Ltd. (MLG), will succeed Mr. Toshiya Konishi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MCS & MWL effective July 1, 2023. Under the Group Executive Officer system of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., he will act as President & CEO of these three companies; MCS, MWL and MLG.
Before assuming his current position in April 2021, Mr. Koichi Yashima was appointed as Senior Managing Executive Officer and Chief Executive Representative for Asia, Middle East, and Oceania, of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd., and also was acting Managing Director of MOL (Asia Oceania) Pte. Ltd. since April 2019. Prior to this, he was Managing Executive Officer of MOL in April 2016 mainly responsible for New and Clean Energy business, as well as the Human Resources Division. He served as General Manager of the Human Resources Division from June 2011 to June 2013 and has been in this division since January 2003 responsible for the management of global as well as domestic human resources. Mr. Koichi Yashima joined Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. in April 1983, and was transferred to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (America) Inc. in Chicago in December 1992 and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (Japan) Ltd. in April 1999, mostly in charge of the Containership Business in both posts.
Mr. Toshiya Konishi whom we also call as ‘TK’, will retire after more than 40 years of executive positions in the MOL Group, that includes MOL Americas, MOL Liner, MLG HQ, MLG USA, and as MCS & MWL CEO. We would like to thank TK for all his contributions, dedication, and hard work commitment. He has been an integral part of the company which will always be valued and remembered. We wish TK success and a happy retirement.
