Change of Chief Executive Officer
On behalf of the Board of Directors at MOL Consolidation Service Ltd, (MCS) we are pleased to announce Mr. Toshiya K. Konishi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MOL Consolidation Service Ltd. (MCS) and MOL Worldwide Logistic Ltd. (MWL). Mr. Toshiya K. Konishi, currently Chairman of MOL Logistics (U.S.A.) Inc., will succeed Mr. Michael Goh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective July 1, 2020.
In 1983, Mr. Toshiya K. Konishi also known as “TK” started his career in Japan with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL). He has held several senior and executive positions within MOL Group ever since. By February 2003, he transferred to USA as was appointed EVP/COO of MOL (America). Later, he moved to Hong Kong to take up the role of COO of MOL Liner (Global) in Jun 2008. Additionally, the appointment of Executive Officer (EO) of MOL and promotion to President/CEO of MOL Liner and Managing Executive Officer (MEO) of MOL occurred in June 2013. In 2015, TK moved back once again to USA to fulfill his new responsibilities as the Chief Executive Representative of MOL Group in Americas. He subsequently moved to MOL Logistics (Global) in summer of 2018 looking after Americas and EMEA Regions and appointed to be the Chairman and CEO of MOL Logistics (USA). Concurrently, he has been a Board Member of MCS from 2015 and of MWL from 2018 to the present.
Mr. Michael Goh will assume a new role as Senior Advisor of MCS and MWL starting from July 1. Michael with more than 50 years of shipping experience will continue to help MCS & MWL grow and develop. We would like to thank Michael for his continued contribution to both companies.
